Doodle4Google-2014 Children’s day doodle

Since 2009 Google takes competition of Doodle 4 Google in India. In this competition children create different logo of Google name on given subject, and the winners doodle will be featured on the Google homepage. Google India takes this competition before children’s day (14th Nov.) and winners doodle featured on Google India homepage on children’s day (14th Nov. Birthday of  Chacha Nehru). This year Pune girl Vaidehi Reddy won the sixth edition of the “Doodle4Google” competition. The interesting thing is last year winner of Doodle 4 Google was also girl from Pune.

The theme for 2014 Google Doodle was “A place in India I wish to visit” and Google India received over one million entries from more than 2000 schools and across 50 cities. Finally Google India choose winner according judges and public voting. The national winner of 2014 Doodle 4 Google contest is Vaidehi Reddy, from  Army Public School, Pune

Vaidehi made Doodle on, “Natural and Cultural Paradise -Assam”

She made Doodle on Assam because she wants to go to Assam because it is rich in both, natural beauty and culture. Its music and rich folk arts are also very good she mentioned after winning price. Google gives the medal to national Doodle winner, Google also give the chrome book and free trip to the location featured in the image and national winner Doodle will appear on Google India homepage on occasion of Children’s day.
